The Power of the Mind....
WHY SHOULD YOU TRAIN YOUR MIND?
By the time we are 30, we have formed a subconscious automatic operating system within the brain. From a neurological point of view, when we fire neurons together, they wire together, so when we think the same thoughts and do the same things every day, over time those synaptic connections get very strong, to the point that we loose awareness of what we are thinking and doing a lot of the time – we are on autopilot, and nothing changes. We think roughly 60-70,000 thoughts a day and around 90% of them are the same – which means the lens in which we view the world is distorted by those subconscious beliefs and past emotions we have from past experiences. So all of our choices, reactions and feelings come from that automatic thinking. If you are loving, kind, happy, content and peaceful a majority of the time, then your brain has wired itself to be that way which is fantastic. The true test will be when something ‘bad’ happens (and it will because that’s part of the human experience) whether or not you can still keep that inner calm and peace despite external circumstances… However, if the below list seems to resonate with you more at present, then mindset training could be a life changer for you – |
- You react to situations in a way you are not proud of
- Stressful thoughts never stop and they dominate your brain
- You never have enough time in the day to get everything done

- You’ve had a rough upbringing and/or some pretty awful things happen to you which has resulted in long-term trauma responses within you
- You hate your body and don’t particularly like who you are either
- You feel restricted in life due to other peoples expectations on you, including stereotypes, cultural and societies expectations
- You worry about what people think about you all the time
- No matter how hard you try you can’t achieve what you want to achieve
The list goes on, but I have no doubt that you can see a pattern here.
Mindset Training is the key to making a Shift from this way of thinking. It is the key to being able to rewire your brain to take back control of what you think, say, do, believe and feel. Mindset training includes bringing awareness and mindfulness into what you think, say and do. It includes having an open mind to learning new ways of looking at things. It is a lifelong commitment, just like exercising your muscles to stay strong and fit. You can’t just do one session! Meditation allows you to speed up the process of discovering your true self beneath all of the programming. It’s literally like hitting the reset button to calm the nervous system. - You will release limiting beliefs
- You will feel empowered to change what no longer serves you
- You will find purpose, contentment, joy and peace
- You will be able to manifest the life of your dreams
- You will be less reactive, more calm, understanding, forgiving and loving
- You will love yourself, your life and your body
- You will feel supported, guided and worthy
- You will begin to let go of the pain of the past, and the worry about the future
- You will have more energy
- Your finances will improve
- Your relationships, sleep, health, and career will improve
- You will be able to process emotions and difficult times in a much healthier way
- You will experience synchronicities, as though everything is falling into place, the more spiritually aligned you are
- You will be excited for the future
- Your default mindset will be one of gratitude, positivity, compassion, faith
- Helping others will bring you joy
The list continues….
I speak from personal experience (which you can read a little bit about on my About Me page), not just from what I have learned from others (although I have spent thousands of hours reading, listening and learning this stuff from spiritual and scientific leaders as well).
It is through what I have experienced that has led me to who I am today, and it has given me the knowledge and the drive to help guide others on how to rewire their brains as well to increase their quality of life.
Suffering is part of the duality of the human experience, but it is not meant to be your normal state. We tend to rely on everything external from us to dictate our happiness, but I’m here to tell you that you already have everything you need within you.
